The Restorative Care Program is a coordinated approach to care which is integrated throughout all aspects of the home. This approach is intended to ensure that each resident is able to maintain or improve his/her functional abilities. It is put into practice through the care planning process and is delivered through interdisciplinary programs, restorative nursing, restorative personal support worker’s services, therapy services, and community programs.
What is the purpose of this program, and how will it benefit me?
The Restorative Program is very goal orientated. The goal of the program is to increase the strength and well-being of the resident participating to enable a successful return to home in the community with community supports if desired. We strive for resident’s set to goals, and achieve those goals prior to their discharge date.
